About Us

Homes are meant to be a sanctuary. A place of peace, tranquility and comfort. However, the actual process of building homes has historically been nothing like that.  It’s an experience that often leaves a family feeling overwhelmed, vulnerable and disempowered.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

In 2003, Erin Stetzer set out to flip that narrative - making the act of building dream homes just as comfortable and empowering as living in them. At ESH, we combine our extremely high standards of building with our unprecedented standards of communication to ensure that we not only create an exceptional product, but give our clients an exceptional experience.

20 years and many homes later, we’ve honed our skills and learned what it takes to achieve this. It comes down to five basic principles that we hold ourselves accountable to on every project: make your voice the loudest, over communicate, obsess over details, collaborate with the best, and always innovate.

Meet The Team

Erin Stetzer, Principal and Founder

Erin Stetzer, Graduate Master Builder, has built a foundation of extraordinarily strong relationships with her team members, clients, trades and vendors.

As principal of the company, you will see her on the job sites daily meeting with clients, interacting with trades and working with the entire team to create a finished product that is nothing less than spectacular.

Over two decades of home building experience has given Erin the opportunity to grow and be involved with simply the best projects in Houston. Her no-nonsense, systematic approach clearly defines the success of each and every project.

In addition to building in Houston, Erin also consults with homeowners and other industry professionals all throughout the world. Whether connecting with clients through a one-time consultation, or working with clients on a longer-term basis, as a Homeowner Representative, Erin continually bridges the gap between her client’s vision and reality.

While meeting the demands of a Division 1 basketball scholarship, Erin attended Fairfield University and acquired a BS in Finance. She quickly learned the value of effort, efficiencies and setting high standards for herself and her surroundings.

Our Principles

MAKE YOUR VOICE THE LOUDEST

It’s easy for a homeowner to feel like their voice is drowned out in a sea of opinions. But there’s only one voice that will be waking up in this home and living with every decision that’s made. Yours. We believe it’s our duty to be your personal advocates and make sure YOUR voice is the driving force behind the project. We listen deeply, take swift action, protect you from unnecessary harm, and always your best interest is always at the forefront of our minds.

OBSESS OVER THE DETAILS

It goes without saying that details are everything in a build. And make no mistake about it, we pride ourselves on a level of craftsmanship that is unparalleled in this industry.  But arriving at that level of finish requires that we obsess about the details on the logistical side too. Whether it’s creating a budget or one of our daily check-ins on your site, (these needs to sound more detail oriented),we are hyper vigilant about the small stuff. So everyone is not only on the same page, but the same paragraph, same sentence, same word. And that word is “details.”

OVER COMMUNICATE

It’s an understatement to say the building process can be overwhelming for homeowners. To be frank, it can feel like complete chaos. But there’s one way to calm these waters: radical transparency and communication. At Erin Stetzer Homes, we have developed our own unique communication practices and systems that far exceed even the industry’s highest communication standards. So everyone…and we mean EVERYONE…is on the same page, every single day.

COLLABORATE WITH THE BEST

At the end of the day, the quality of your build comes down to the team of people that are doing the work. And it’s important we make room for the experts. Architects, Interior Designers, Trades Partners, Investors- we work with some of the most talented and hard working professionals in the industry. Building homes of this caliber requires a team of professionals that prioritize coordination and foster healthy relationships. And, here at ESH, we pride ourselves on collaborating with others with the upmost respect, honesty and fairness.

ALWAYS INNOVATE

If you can dream it, we can build it! We haven't run into anything that has stumped us or made us question our capabilities. We welcome big thinkers and blue-sky dreamers! Inventive thinking fuels our desires to explore every possibility in a project. And, we hold our partners to practice the same innovative spirit.

So…let’s dream it up and draw it up. We are ready to build it up!
