Erin Stetzer Homes is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas!  Project Managers at Stetzer Builders are responsible for planning and overseeing luxury home construction projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills who is uniquely capable of planning and designating project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring construction progress, and keeping all stakeholders informed throughout the process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives

  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements

  • Track project costs in order to meet budget

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

  • Develop and maintain relationships with other members of the Production team, customers/clients, and trade partners.

  • Complete all inspections on time and complete all required paperwork

  • Examine and inspect work progress and construction sites to verify that safety, construction and performance standards are being met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • Minimum of 12 years of project management in high end residential construction and related experience

  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively

  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
